As a child Aileen had a passion for art and makeup. In 2003 she decided to persue her passion and enrolled into Empire Beauty School. While going to school she worked as an assistant and worked on salon photoshoots doing makeup at Uturn Salon. Due to exposure to editoral early on in her career she developed a true understanding of makeup for photography. After graduating she furthered her training on her weekends in NYC while working as a makeup artist at Uturn Salon. During that time she trained with Aveda, MAC and The Powdergroup. In 2008 she started working with Aveda's Fashion Week makeup teams at New York Fashion Week and Bridal Fashion Week. She has also has been published in Salon News Asia and Harrisburg Patriot News.
